Namaskar, welcome to Healthy  Kitchen Nawazi ,today’s recipe is spring onion fritters or hare pyaj ke pakode . this is a delicious Indian snack made with spring onions ,rice flour and ,flour and some spices.these fritters are easy to make with few ingredients .so let’s start the recipe .

Ingredients:

  • 12 -15 Spring onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup of gram flour
  • 1/2 cup of rice flour
  • 1/2 tsp of carom seeds
  • 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp of coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp of red chili powder 1/2
  • 1/2 of garam masala
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil for frying fritters

Insructions:

  1. First of all to prepare spring onions pakoda (fritters) chop green part as well as white part of spring onion.
  2.  Take a mixing bowl, add chopped spring onion and salt, mi it with hand /nicely squeeze it, so that spring onions leaves out water.
  3. Now add rice flour, gram flour and all spices along with a tablespoon of hot oil and mix it well with your hand and no need to add water in it.
  4.   Now heat the oil in a wok on medium heat for frying. When the oil is hot add spoonful of batter into the oil. Fry few pakora at a time. Stir and turn in between. Keep the flame to medium while dropping pakodas to oil and later reduce to low to medium.
  5.  Deep fry till they are crisp, in batches.
