Namaskar, welcome to healthy kitchen nawazi...In this session we will learn how to make mouth watering chokha with tamater,aaloo and baigan. Chokha can be taken with litti, khichidi etc,it is very a healthy side dish without of adding much species.
So let's start to make Tamatar, Aaloo And baigan ka Chokha
No. of Serving: 4
Ingredients:
- Three Big red Tomatoes.
- Two boiled Potatoes/Aaloo
- One Baingan/Brinjal (of Purple colour)
- Oil-Little bit
- Salt as per your taste
- Chopped one small Onion (Optional)
- Mustard oil(Optional)
- 6-8 pcs Chopped garlic,
- Chopped coriander leaves and 5 Pieces chopped green chilies.
Method to Prepare:
Wash Baingan and Tomatoes properly.
Put some oil on the outside body of brinjal and then Cut from half ,leaving on end attached (uncut) and keep it on the gas to roast for about 5-7 minutes.(rotate it regularly during the process so that it can roast properly.
Also roast tomatoes on the gas.(Pls refer the Pic below)

Now brinjal gets roasted,remove its outer black burnt skin.


Take a Bowl,Put all the chopped materials(onion,garlic,coriander leaves and green chilies) into the bowl.
Add boiled potatoes,roasted Brinjal and tomatoes into the bowl.
Add salt and 2-3 drops of mustard oil into it.
Mash it well and your chokha is ready.
